Guidelines for testing
Based on the project research and experience, guidelines for standardised testing of TVs and for market monitoring in shops and on e-shops websites will be developed that shall facilitate effective and concerted market surveillance in EU MS in the future.
The guidelines among others shall address the following issues:
- aspects for product selection;
- testing set-up with focus on cost-efficiency;
- practical experience concerning specific testing requirements and optimisation of testing in terms of costs and quality; and
- alignment of testing activities and data management, including the list of independent laboratories known to be certified to conduct TV testing for market surveillance purposes and development of a template test report.
Find here the scheme of the project testing activities.
