Based on the experiences from the project´s shop and website surveys, guidelines for standardised market surveillance activities for websites and for shops will be developed. Among other issues, the guidelines shall cover aspects like:
The task will be supported by expert workshops with target groups from market surveillance at national level (Economic Chambers of Trade, Commerce and Industry, national consumer associations) for discussion of the draft guidelines concept.
In addition, the project team has elaborated a good practice guideline on how the energy label and all other required types of information should be made available to consumers, both in physical and online sales.
